DENTURE REPAIRS

Denture repairs can generally be completed within one day.  Ideally you can call and make an early morning appointment, we will work on your denture during the day and you can collect it at close of business. It is essential that you call in advance to make your initial early morning appointment otherwise we cannot guarentee same day service.  Call 5596 0411 or email us.

Why is your denture breaking? 

It is important to be aware of why your denture is breaking. The primary reason for denture breakage is warpage/distortion. This is something we cannot compensate for because when a denture breaks, it stretches first.  This stretching distorts the material and once the denture is beyond it's elastic stretch limit it will snap.

The material used to repair your denture is not as strong as the material your denture was initially constructed with. As a result there is a fair chance it will break again. This may happen anytime, repairing a denture does not guarantee it will not break again because of the distortion/warpage justification above.

When your denture breaks it is because there is a change in your mouth.  It is no longer fitting correctly and we highly recommend you consider having a new denture made.
