DO I NEED NEW DENTURES? Complete our questionaire and see if you need new dentures, or maybe just a reline. 1) How old are your current dentures? If your current dentures are more than 10 years old it is highly likely that you need either 1) New dentures or 2) a denture reline. Your gums shrink every year which means your dentures will not fit as well as they did when you first had them made. To get the most from your dentures and to ensure you are living with comfortable oral health, you should have your dentures relined every two years. If you're dentures are over 10 years old, we recomend you come in and see us for a complimentary consultation. We may be able to increase your everyday oral health comfort level. 2) Are you happy with the current appearance of your smile? If you answered NO to this question we highly recommend you book your complimentary consultation to see our Denture Specialists. As mentioned above, your gums shrink every year resulting in your dentures becoming slightly bigger as the days pass. If your dentures are loose and that's all that is bothering you (and our Dental Prosthetist agrees), it is likely that you will not need new dentures, instead all you may need is a denture reline. Denture relines can be completed overnight. We will make a booking for you before 10am and you leave your denture with us overnight and collect it the next morning. It's as easy as that.
