Mark holds a Bachelor of Health Science, an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics, a Diploma of Dental Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Learning and a Certificate in Dental Technology. 

Mark has over 25 years industry experience and has owned denture clinics and denture laboratories in Auckland and Palmerston North in New Zealand and currently owns two clinics and laboratories on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Mark is a Registered Dental Prosthetist with the Dental Technician/Prosthetist Board, Queensland aswell as a Registered Dental Technician, Dental Technician/Prosthetist Board, Queensland.

Mark is a Senior Lecturer of the Master of Dental Technology programme and the Bachelor of Dental Technology programme at the School of Dentistry and Oral Health at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Mark is also a Volunteer Coast Guard for The Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association.
